Scope:
For our Major Project we are doing audio for a Short Film called ‘Red Light’, where we will be in charge of mixing all sound, along with composing the soundtrack and creating Atmos soundscapes for different parts of the film. The film focuses on the main protagonist ‘David’ coming to terms with the loss of his wife and daughter following the first wave of the zombie apocalypse. The theme it will be exploring throughout will be loneliness, denial and loss which, as audio engineers, will help us greatly in the composing process.
We are doing this project as a part of our LO’s checklist and our requirement to work as a part of an interdisciplinary production. A few members of the group haven’t had a chance to work on a film production yet so we’re all very keen to get some different experience in the audio world.
